Images for DOAF
Posted by Karen B. Jones in News and Events on June 13, 2013
Sorry for the short notice. I’m actually not sure if it’s too late or not. But Jim Walker wants us to send him images to display on the DOAF website if we have something we want displayed along with our name. Smallish images no larger than 700 pixels on the longest side. He wanted them by the end of the day today. So… Sorry, might be too late already. But I’m posting just in case. Email the images to him.

Plein Air Artists in the Vineyard – Aug. 10th
Posted by Karen B. Jones in News and Events on June 13, 2013
Jim Walker passed this along:
Attention all artists: Registration is being accepted for artists to participate in the Plein Air Art event. Registration is free and artists are encouraged to make a donation of art work for a silent auction benefitting the Safe Harbor Prison Dog Program.
Please encourage your artist friends to participate.
Please let me know of your participation by responding to this email. I have heard that artists sometimes don’t want to participate because of the heat in August. There is a lot of shade on the property and August is the ideal time to capture the vineyard in it’s harvest glory. We also have a covered gazebo overlooking the vineyard and indoor a/c space with windows looking out to the vineyard. Artists are welcome to paint anytime during the week of the event; this includes the cool morning hours. Thank you.
Please see the specifics below. This is the information that will appear in our newsletter. I am happy to include artist names and short bios if I have the information by Monday, June 17th.

(Note: artists will be painting in the vineyard the week before the event, Aug. 4-9).
